Privacy policy

Axiom Companion is a private, single-user personal assistant operated by and for Stephen Bottke. This policy describes its handling of Google user data and related planning records.

Scope

This policy applies to Axiom Companion’s use of Google APIs and the records created from user-requested planning and reconciliation work. Axiom Companion is not offered to the public and does not provide public user accounts.

Google data Axiom may access

Depending on the feature Stephen invokes, Axiom Companion may access:

Axiom Companion does not use these permissions to access Gmail.

How the data is used

Google user data is used only to provide user-facing features Stephen requests, such as:

Axiom Companion does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness, insurance eligibility, employment eligibility, or other unrelated purposes.

AI-assisted processing and service providers

Axiom is an AI-assisted system. When Stephen requests analysis or action involving Google data, the minimum information reasonably necessary for that request may be processed by the AI model provider configured for the active Axiom session and by infrastructure providers necessary to deliver that feature.

Such processing is limited to providing the user-requested function. Axiom Companion does not authorize Google user data to be used for advertising or for training generalized AI models, and it does not disclose Google user data to unrelated data brokers or commercial partners.

Storage, security, and retention

No security measure is infallible. Axiom’s operating posture is to minimize access, use least privilege, require explicit authorization for consequential writes, and verify external changes after they occur.

Sharing and transfer

Axiom Companion shares Google user data only with service providers necessary to perform Stephen’s requested operation, as described above, or when legally required. It does not sell or rent that data.

Axiom Companion’s use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Control, revocation, and deletion

Stephen can stop future Google API access by removing Axiom Companion from the Google Account third-party connections page. He can also delete the locally stored OAuth token and any locally retained planning exports.

Revoking Google access prevents new API access but does not automatically delete planning records already exported to user-controlled storage or backups. Those records must be deleted from their respective storage locations.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated before Axiom materially broadens its Google data access, purposes, recipients, or retention practices. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
